Related

Much to the joy of followers of Sikh Faith and others, long awaited Kartarpur Corridor is all set to open on 9th November, welcoming the pilgrims from India. This will support a visa free visit to the Sacred Shrine.

The corridor connects Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur, located in Narowal District of Pakistan, to Dera Baba Nanak Shrine, located in Gurdaspur District of India. Although pilgrims can visit the shrine visa free, they however have to obtain a permit and pay a fee of USD20 to cross over to Pakistan.

Pilgrims can visit https://prakashpurb550.mha.gov.in/kpr/, to register. They will be informed by SMS and email, 3-4 days prior to the travel date. A Electronic Travel Authorisation generated during this process has to be carried along with the passport when visiting the terminal
