A Bek Air plane with 100 passengers and five crew members on board has crashed in Kazakhstan’s city of Almaty Soon after taking off, killing at least 12 people and injuring dozens.

According to Reports the Fokker 100 Aircraft operated by Bek Air, got in trouble shortly after take off from Almaty on its route to Nur- Sultan, on a pre-dawn flight. According to Kazakhstan’s Civil Aviation Committee, the Ill-Fated Plane lost altitude during take-off and broke through a concrete fence, before hitting a two-storey building.  

The Captain of the plane was among the 12 dead, the emergency committee of internal affairs has announced. Investigation into the cause behind the crash is underway
