Hyatt Hotels & Mindspace – Raise the Bar for Wellness Strategy in Hospitality

Hyatt Hotels have teamed with mindfulness and meditation company Headspace and will be offering wellbeing and meditation courses to its employees and guests at Hyatt branded hotels worldwide in the coming months.

This Alliance comes in continuation to the brand’s ongoing holistic wellbeing strategy, that focuses on its guests and employee’s overall health and wellbeing.

Earlier in 2017, Company had acquired Miraval and Exhale brands to its existing portfolio of more than 220 Spa and Health focused locations.

This new collaboration with Mindspace will now offer it’s guest complimentary access to Headspace via in-room content, including short meditations, soothing sounds for restful sleep, and more.

Meeting Planners will have an opportunity to include headspace content and experiences into its meeting packages. A new meditation experience for meeting and conference attendees is expected to launch later this year.

Employees too will be offered access to a complimentary subscription to Headspace content

Hospitality and aviation sector have recently started looking at mental health and general well being of their Guests and Employees.

Headspace, that has more than 60 Million users in 190 countries, has in past worked with Westin Hotels, which offered its guests, customised content through Westins Website. 

Company has also worked with airlines like JetBlue Airways, Delta Airlines, and United Airlines, providing in-flight channels and audio exercises to their passengers
