A decision to place the 52-year-old carrier, Air Mauritius in a voluntary administration was taken by the board of directors after they met on 22nd April 2020, to take cognizance of its latest financial status.

The Board has stated that in current circumstances, the company will not be able to meet its financial obligations in the foreseeable future and to safeguard the interests of all the stakeholders, a decision has been taken for the company to be placed into voluntary administration.
A. Sattar Hajee Abdoula and Arvindsingh K. Gokhool, have been appointed as administrators
