A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane with 107 onboard has crashed in a residential area near Karachi airport, moments before its scheduled landing. According to visuals received, the crash has set the plane and several houses on fire. The thick black smoke can be seen rising from the crash site.

Several ambulances have been dispatched and rescue operations are underway
