New Delhi: Industry Body ASSOCHAM, has welcomed the Governments move to start domestic flights from 25th May. Saying that life and economic activity has to go on and we need to learn to co-exist with COVID 19.

Appreciating the round the clock effort put in by Mr. Hardeep Puri, Minister of Civil Aviation, to make this happen. Mr. Subhash Goyal, Chairman of ASSOCHAM Tourism Council said that Today 38 million jobs are at stake and only economic activity will help in saving some of them,

Tourism an Aviation alone can re-start the Economy as the are the generators of employment, creators of Jobs, and engines of economic growth, he said.

Civil Aviation Ministry on Thursday had announced the resumption of domestic flight operations with strict norms, starting 25th May.
