Gujrat Chapter of IATTE Launched In A Virtual Event

Indian Association of Travel and Tourism Experts (IATTE), in a virtual event, launched its Gujrat chapter on Thursday. The event was attended by Mr. Jenu Devan, Managing Director, Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd. & Commissioner of Tourism, Government of India and Mr. Nirav Munshi, Manager, Commercial Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd., who were the chief guests of the event and Mr. Subhash Goyal, Chairman ASSOCHAM Tourism Council & Hony. Secretary, FAITH

“I congratulate you and IATTE on the inauguration of the Gujrat chapter, I am sure that this will go a long way in the tourism history of Gujrat because it’s high time that post covid, all travel agents and tour operators should come together to bring tourism back on track. Gujrat tourism should do everything that it can to bring tourism back to the state. The Government will be supporting you in every way and stand beside you at all times on the other hand it’s also necessary for the tourism fraternity to come up with new and innovative ideas to restart tourism activities within the state” said Mr. Jenu Devan, Managing Director, Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd. & Commissioner of Tourism, Government of India

The Gujrat chapter will be lead by Mr. Uttej Rao, chapter chairman Gujrat, Mr. Deepak Rathod, General Secretary, and Ms. Anal Dhabi, treasurer national core committee.

Mr. Naveen Manchanda, president IATTE, said “Starting our journey back in March, we had a dream to first connect the tourism industry in India with each other, and then connect it to the world. The launch of the Gujrat chapter of IATTE, is the beginning of our dreams coming true, and the credit for the same goes to the entire team of IATTE, especially the first Ms. Veena Robinson, Mr. Subhash Verma, Mr. Gaurav Khandelwal, Mr. Jatin Mehta, Ms. Anal Dhabi, Mr. Nischay Manchanda who were the first ones to join the team and have worked round the clock to bring us this far.”

IATTE which offers a unique virtual platform for the Indian tourism fraternity to come together and connect with each other has managed to cross 1300 members in less than 100 days. In order to support the industry and bring them on board, the membership fee for the year 2020-2021 has been waived off completely.
