Singapore and Hong Kong Agree to Quarantine Free Travel Bubble.

Hong Kong and Singapore have agreed to start an air travel bubble that will substitute quarantine with COVID-19 testing, starting November 22nd as stated by local authorities in media briefings. Arrangements have been made with Singapore Airlines Ltd. and Cathy Pacific airways Ltd.to carry up to 200 passengers per flight.

Mr Ong Ye Kung, in a media briefing, stated that this is a primary travel bubble of its type and could be used as a template for other nations if required.

Travel bubbles are playing a key role in reopening of borders before the rollout of any internationally recognised vaccine. The Arrangement will begin with a select number of weekly flights that will gradually be increased to daily flights by 7th December
