Mandatory COVID-19 Tests Upon Arrival For All Travellers To Singapore.

Singapore’s Ministry of Health has made it mandatory for all travellers including Singaporeans and permanent residents to take COVID-19 (PCR) test upon arrival. The rule will be applicable from 11:59 pm on January 24th 2021

This rule is in addition to the current stay-home notice requirement that includes another test at the end of the period.

All travellers are being strongly encouraged to register and pay in advance for their tests on arrival.

“The multi-ministry task force regularly reviews Singapore’s border measures to manage the risk of importation and onward local transmission from travellers,” the Ministry of Health said.

“Given the resurgence of COVID-19 cases around the world, we will be putting in place more stringent measures for travellers to manage the risk of importation.”
