On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2021, the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India sends it’s warmest greetings to 49.55% of the world’s population, without whom none of us would literally exist. They are our mothers, our wives, our sisters, our friends. But above all, they are our equals. Gender discrimination has no place in today’s world, and let us all work together to make our world a better and equal place.
ATOAI is also delighted to announce the creation of our Women’s Task Force. The world of adventure has its share of amazing women adventurers, and we would like to make all efforts to make this tribe grow. The Task Force will focus on developing more women entrepreneurs in the adventure tourism industry, helping the industry become more women friendly, enhancing women’s safety and further promoting adventure tourism amongst our fellow lady citizens. Further details, including the core committee will be announced soon.
