The Cleanliness and Hygiene Factor!
Sanitisation and hygiene, have been the topmost concern for all the guests even before guests start planning their travel.
At the resort, Travel Newsy spoke to Ms. Roma Malik, who is the Business Development head and leads a bright team of professionals.

Talking about the hygiene practices at the hotel, she explains “The Cleaning and Hygiene norms have always been our priority even before Pandemic. As we all are going through these tough times of pandemic, hygiene and cleaning procedures have taken the next level.
At Winsome we have been taking care of all the cleaning and sanitizing procedures. All common areas are sanitized in regular intervals, we have sanitizer disposals at all common areas. All rooms are well sanitized before allotting it to the new guests”
She further adds, “In starting the guests were in a dilemma as to whether they should travel or not as they wanted to move out of their home-town and travel to various places like pre-COVID days but also they were worried about the situations around. Then gradually guests started coming in, started accepting “The New Normal” but yes they were concerned about the measures been taken by the hotels.
“We made sure that we take all responsible and necessary measures, and gave confidence to the guests coming in for the same”

Adapting to The New Ecosystem of Travel
Staycations and Workcations, the words that came to life post COVID, have been leading the new trends. When asked about the trends and her observations, Roma explains that “After being at home for almost 06 months everyone needed a change so we came up with staycations and workcation packages for our guests. Wherein, the guests come to the resort for a minimum of 7 days where we provide them with all basic facilities such as Wi-Fi with good connectivity, all meals, and all facilities of the resort.
“We have also seen an increase in destination weddings happening in Jim Corbett post- Covid as there were limits for social functions so people thought why not go in for Destination wedding if only a few members can be a part of it.”
