In the past year, the Tourism & Hospitality industry has been the worst hit. However, 2021 will bear witness to several initiatives to revive the sector. The Early Bird registrations are in full swing for one of the most highly anticipated events in this regard – the “Travel Trade Show” (TTS). And the TTS Roadshow is finally coming to India in November 2021. Dr. Naveen Manchanda, the official representative of India at the ‘Travel Trade Show’, described the unique show as a hybrid technology-enabled event. Travel Trade Show is critically acclaimed globally because of its unique concept. The preferred partner for the ‘Travel Trade Show’ in India is the Indian Association of Travel & Tourism Experts (IATTE). The vast professional network of IATTE offers numerous opportunities to generate business for self-employed tour operators, tourism startups, SMEs, and well-established travel agencies.
The first two days, i.e. 17th & 18th of November, will comprise online events that can be accessed through video conferencing. While, the remaining five days from 19th to 24th November will consist of offline physical roadshows in Delhi-NCR, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad. The core committee of IATTE in association with the ‘Travel Trade Show’ is looking forward to welcoming the exhibitors from Europe, India, Maldives, and many other parts of the world. Thousands of buyers from Delhi-NCR, Jaipur, and Ahemdabad will witness the latest offerings from these exhibitors in the week-long event.
The Italian co-founder of the ‘Travel Trade Show’ Ms. Adriana Miori conveyed her excitement, “We are looking forward to the first edition of the TTS Roadshow in India. India is one of the biggest markets for outbound tourism. We have full confidence that under Dr. Manchanda’s leadership the Indian edition of TTS will be a grand success.”
Ms Veena Robinson, General Secretary IATTE, is of the opinion that in addition to the B2B meetings, several conferences and seminars that will be organized during the TTS Roadshow will help address matters of global concern such as Women Empowerment in the Tourism Industry and Tourism in post COVID world.
The 7-day gala will culminate with the ‘Travel Trade Show Awards’. The TTS Awards will be organized in Ahemdabad and will recognize the contribution of stalwarts from the Tourism fraternity. An international jury will evaluate and choose winners across multiple categories of awards. Some of the confirmed jury members are Ms. Adriana Miori from Italy (Co-Founder of Travel Trade Show), Ms. Karine Coulanges from France (President of Skal International Paris), Mr. Subhash Verma from India (National advisor with IATTE), and Ms. Jeannette Ceja from the USA (eminent Travel Journalist).
The IATTE is currently registering individual agents, travel agencies, tour operators as well as hospitality providers for participation in the TTS Roadshow. Interested members of the Tourism & Hospitality fraternity can get in touch with any of the IATTE core members or email at info@traveltradeshow.eu for special Early Bird Offers.
