Related

Turkey has recently announced that it will allow fully vaccinated Indian tourists to enter the country without having to undergo mandatory quarantine. The rule applies to all passengers of age 12 years and above or those who stayed in India in the last 14 days.

The Culture and Tourism Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in India said that the vaccines approved by WHO and the Turkish Government are covered under this exemption. It includes vaccines such as Pzifer Biontech, Sputnik V and Sinovac.

Travellers will need to take the second dose of the vaccine at least 14 days before the date of travel. The Culture and Tourism Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in India also clarified that all Indian travellers who have been vaccinated with Covishield will be allowed to travel to Turkey. Once the indigenously manufactured vaccine Covaxin gets approval from WHO, travellers who have been vaccinated with the same will also be allowed to visit Turkey.
