To Promote Religious Tourism IRCTC Launches Shri Ramayana Yatra

New Delhi: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), has launched the ‘Shri Ramayana Yatra’, under the “Dekho Apna Desh” initiative by the Govt Of India.  The 17-day yatra will Start from the Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station on 7th November in a Deluxe AC Tourist train and will cover all places of prominence associated with the life of Bhagwan Shri Ram.

The first stop is at Ayodhya. Here, the devotees can visit the famous local temples, including the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. The next stop will be at Sitamarhi. From here the tourists will be taken to the famous Ram-Janki temple in Janakpur in Nepal by road. The train will stop at various other places and is scheduled to return to Delhi on the 17th day of the journey.

The Deluxe AC Tourist trains will be equipped with amenities such as fine dining restaurants, shower cubicles, a modern kitchen, and a foot massager etc.

The price for the entire package is Rs 82,950 per person which includes train journeys in AC compartments, accommodation in AC hotels, transfer and sight-seeing in AC vehicles. It also includes travel insurance as well as services provided by the tour managers of the IRCTC.
