New Delhi: Scheduled international commercial passenger flights to and from India will remain suspended till October 31. The Suspension however, will not affect the International all-cargo and the flights that have special approval by DGCA
This extension of suspension was announced through a notice by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Tuesday, despite the improved situation of Covid-19 in India.
“In partial modification of circular dated 26-06-2020, the competent authority has further extended the validity of circular issued on the subject cited above regarding scheduled international commercial passenger services to/from India till 2359 hrs IST of October 31, 2021. This restriction shall not apply to international all-cargo operations and flights specifically approved by DGCA,” the notice read.
The notice also said that some international flights might be allowed to operate by relevant authorities on a case to case basis. In August, this suspension was extended till September 30
