Saudi Arabia: All Airports To Start Operating Full Capacity

All airports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, both domestic and international, will start operating at full capacity starting 24th October 2021, the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) of Saudi Arabia has announced.

The immunization status of the travellers will be still be checked in the “Tawakkalna” application, as before.

The easing of some of the strict Covid-19 precautionary measures has been approved by the Kingdom’s Interior Ministry, according to the Saudi Press Agency(SPA) report. Gatherings have been allowed, and some mask mandates will be lifted for those who are fully vaccinated with two doses.

The Grand Mosque in Mecca operated at full capacity on Sunday, with worshippers praying shoulder to shoulder, the first time since the pandemic began.

The Ministry of Sports will also allow vaccinated spectators into all sports stadiums and facilities, operating at full capacity, according to the report of the SPA.
