On September 15, online travel aggregator Yatra Online will commence its initial public offering (IPO).
The initial public offering (IPO) will include a fresh issue of shares worth INR 602 Cr and an offer for sale (OFS) of 1,21,83,099 equity shares.
75% of the issue will be reserved for institutional investors, while 15% will be reserved for retail investors. The remaining 10% will be allocated to individual investors.
The new issue size of 602 billion rupees (INR) represents a reduction from the initial proposal of 750 billion rupees (INR). This reduction includes an approximately INR 62 Cr pre-IPO placement. This pre-IPO placement involved the issuance of 26,27,697 equity shares to one of its promoters, THCL, at a price of INR 236 per equity share via a rights issue.
The company intends to use INR 150 Cr of the proceeds from the new offering for strategic investments, acquisitions, and inorganic growth, while INR 392 Cr will be allocated for investments in customer acquisition and retention, technology development, and other organic growth endeavours.
