US To Lift Travel Ban For Vaccinated Travellers

The US borders will be opened for the Vaccinated travellers from 33 countries on 8th November This includes travellers from 26 European nations under the Schengen group, the UK, Brazil, China, India, Iran, Ireland and South Africa.

The new rules announced by the White House will allow vaccinated people who tested negative in the 72 hours prior to travelling, to enter the US.

The vaccines approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and those granted an Emergency Use Listing from the World Health Organization (WHO) will be allowed.

The Emergency Use list will allow many travellers with Astrazeneca jab, mostly from the UK, and those with China’s Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines to avail themselves of the relaxation.

There will be no quarantine requirement on entry for the fully vaccinated travellers as well.
